Look At This Bridge That Runs “Alongside And Over” The River!
Welcome to Xingshan County in China’s Hubei Province!
China does it again! When faced with the need to build a highway through rough terrain, they did was NOBODY does: instead of building a bridge OVER the water, they built it THE LENGTH OF IT!
The complete highway goes for just over 6 miles, and connects China’s Xingshan County with the Yiba Expressway. More than 2.5 miles of the highway goes over a mountain stream. According to RocketNews24, “this was done to protect the environment by avoiding cutting through the forest or mountain itself.”
Kudos to RocketNews24!
